bildschirmfoto-2016-12-13-um-09-19-01“In the last couple of years I travelled around the world, was able to visit many wonderful places and got to know a big variety of cultures. As I get older, I realized how important it is to be home in Flims – the place where I grew up, where my roots, family, friends and wonderful mountains are. I love to see the imposing Tschingelhörner, the surrounding landscape, the biodiversity and the local fauna.
It’s important to protect our nature, that is why we donate 5 CHF of each sweatshirt sold to the Swiss National Park.”

I would like to thanks my lovely friends Ann Ziegler and Julia Stutz for their amazing work and Fabian Watrinet to organize every thing!

Mountain Dew Tour Breckenridge

December 6th, back in Breckenridge.

Our contest season starts always in Colorado, USA. After a two months recovery I’m now happy to be back in Colorado- Breckenridge for the Mountain Dew Tour. On my way from the airport up to Breckenridge my coach and I were thinking for how many years we were all ready here. Counting many years back it’s my 11th or 12th time here in Breckenridge during pre christmas.

The organization switched the format a bit this year. It will be 4 runs on one jump and three runs in a rail section. Two tricks on the jump and one rail line count for the result.

The first training was hold today and it was a lot of fun being back here and cruising with all my friends. Hope the weather will clear up for some sunny runs on the jump…

Morning Session 2.0

luca5.jpgAND… I had to do it again. I had so much fun taking pictures at the Cresta lake and was hyped to take some more morning pictures. This time I had a longer way to the shooting area. I spend the night in our mountain cabin with a good friend of mine, woke up at 3.45 a.m., taking the bike as far up as possible (it was hard), hiked up 90 minutes along a mountain river in the darkness with our forehead lamp. It was colder as we expected and we were walking a little bit too fast, so we had to wait a long time for the sun…

At around 7 a.m. it got brighter and I could see the mountain peaks far in the east.  At around 8 a.m. the first sun rays arrived us….

The early mornings

crestasee_farbig_2.jpgClose to my home there is a lake, which is covered with morning dew, because the water temperature is warmer then the outside. I pass this way always on my way to school. I thought many times “I really have to go down to the lake to capture this stunning scenery.”! After some ways up and down from Flims to Chur, passing this lake all the time-  I finally went down there to get some nice pictures!

I woke up at 5.30 a.m. biked down to the lake and was absolutely happy how the shooting turned out….

Sri Lanka

After some intense training weeks in Switzerland. I enjoyed three weeks in Sri Lanka. It was great experience, we had some amazing sessions in the water and a lot of fun discovering the countryside.

Views From the 7th

After my school exams, I needed holidays on the snow! I met these lovely ladies for the Views from the 7th session in Whistler. I had such an amazing time in Canada- thanks a lot to Spencer O’Brien for the organization!
